Sean Sargent, President and co-founder
Sean has had a stick in his hand since he was 14. He played his college lacrosse as a 2-year starter at defense for nationally ranked Villanova University, and played post-college for many top tier competitive clubs including 1 year of professional lacrosse for the Boston Blazers of the MILL. Sean was assistant coach for his high school alma mater, Fairfield Prep, and helped bring them to the CT state playoffs. Sean is a 10 year Hoboken resident, and is raising his two children here.
Richie MacDonnell, VP and Defensive Midfield & Faceoff Specialist
Richie is a graduate of Rutgers University where he excelled as their long stick middie. Prior to Rutgers, Richie played lacrosse at Cortland High School in Upstate New York. Richie is still playing competitive lacrosse in New Jersey summer leagues and tournaments. Richie is Vice President of Corporate Resolutions Inc., a New York based investigations firm. Richie is a 10 year Hoboken resident and is raising his three children here.
Mariah DeBolt, 12/13 yr old Girls Head Coach
Mariah is a graduate of SUNY Buffalo State where she excelled as a midfielder contributing to a four year winning run for the Bengals. Mariah contributed to 4 SUNYAC Championship appearances, was selected as a SUNYAC Championship All-Tournament Team in 2009 & 2011, and finished her college career with over 100+goals. Prior to SUNY Buffalo, Mariah played lacrosse at Waterloo High School in Upstate NY as well as played in competitive club leagues out of Syracuse NY. Her coaching experience includes coaching youth girls lacrosse at Waterloo Schools, Buffalo Wings Club team, and Sentry Lacrosse in Dallas, TX. Mariah has been in advertising sales for about 4 years now at iHeartMedia and is a 2 year resident of Hoboken.
Libby Johnson, 12/13 yr old Girls Assistant Coach
Libby is a graduate of Cornell University, where she was a 4-year starter on attack and 2-time team captain. She was selected to the All-Ivy second team and IWLCA all-region team in 2009 & 2010 and ranks 13th on Cornell's career scoring list with 90 goals and 40 assists. Prior to Cornell, Libby played at Skaneateles High School, leading her team to back-to-back state championships in 2005 & 2006. Despite her love for the Finger Lakes, Libby has called Hoboken home for nearly 6 years and works for Jet.com as a category manager.
Ryan Walters, 7th/8th Grade Boys Head Coach
Ryan is a graduate of Susquehanna University where he was a 4 year starter at attack and team captain. Prior to college, Ryan played club lacrosse in Easton, PA where he grew up and attended high school. Ryan has 14 years of coaching experience and after graduation he was hired to play & coach abroad with the English Lacrosse Association in Manchester, England. Ryan is a management consultant for Gartland and Mellina Group in New York City and a proud Hoboken resident since 2013.
Guy Columbro, 7th/8th Grade Boys Assistant Coach
Guy grew up outside of Philadelphia and played 4 years of Varsity Lacrosse at Roman Catholic High School earning All Catholic Honors Junior and Senior year at the Attack position. Guy then continued his lacrosse career at Cabrini College as a Midfielder/Attack, a division III program based in Radnor, PA. After college, Guy coached at Upper Dublin High School in PA for 2 years, working with the LB3 All-Star Travel Program in the summer months. This is Guy's 3rd season with the Hoboken Lacrosse Club working closely with the 7th/8th grade Midfield and Attack.
Allison McGinniss, 10/11 yr old Girls Head Coach
Allison is a graduate of Lebanon Valley College where she was an attacker and a captain of the team for all four years. She ended her college career with 80 goals. Allison started playing lacrosse in 7th grade and played at Randolph High School in Randolph, NJ. She has coached at both the youth and high school level, coaching 7/8th grade Randolph Recreation teams for two years and coaching the Elizabethtown Area High School Varsity Girl’s Lacrosse team for one season in Elizabethtown, PA. Allison currently works in publishing at John Wiley and Sons, Inc.
Taylor Hogarth, 5th/6th Grade Boys Head Coach
Taylor is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ where he was a starter at midfield. Taylor received a captain designation his senior year and helped lead FDU to a NCAA tournament berth. Prior to receiving his Degree in Business Management from FDUU, Taylor grew up in Westfield, NJ where he began his lacrosse career at an early age. Taylor has previously coached with the Morris Select Lacrosse and Westfield Youth Lacrosse programs. Taylor runs a Life Insurance and Financial Planning practice in Saddle Brook, NJ. Taylor is an avid golfer and currently resides in Jersey City, NJ.
Steve Timmreck, 5th/6th Grade Boys Coach
Steve is a graduate of Michigan State University where he was a 4-year starter on the Men's Lacrosse Team at attack and a team captain. Prior to college, Steve played 4 years of high school lacrosse in Warren, MI, at DeLaSalle Collegiate. After graduation, Steve lived in Atlanta for ten years where he started three varsity lacrosse programs, was the head coach of a 7th and 8th-grade program, and the head coach of a varsity travel all-star team. Combined, Steve has over 18 years of lacrosse experience. Steve is a marketing manager for a Global Dental Technologies Firm and moved to Hoboken with his wife of five years in 2016.
Alicia Marcum, 8/9 yr old Girls Head Coach
Alicia was born and raised in Florida where she began her lacrosse journey by starting the girl’s team as a freshman in high school. Alicia went on to play in the Osprey Women’s Lacrosse Club at the University of North Florida. AT UNF, she volunterred the Youth Programs. This program introduced kids to the sport as lacrosse as it was just starting to grow in the south. Alicia works at the IT Global Sales Division for Usablenet in NYC.
TJ DeSantis, 3rd/4th Grade Boys Head Coach
TJ is a graduate of the University at Buffalo. At Buffalo, he was a 5 year starter on defense and President of the club lacrosse team. He played high school lacrosse in South Huntington, NY. This is TJ's third year with the Hoboken Lacrosse Club and second year coaching the 3rd/4th grade boys team.
Jimmy Vaughan, 3rd/4th Grade Boys Assistant Coach
Jimmy grew up in Ridgewood, NJ. He now lives in Hoboken. Jimmy learned the sport of lacrosse from his dad who played in college. Jimmy has been playing lacrosse for over 20 years and has been coaching for 15 years. He played club lacrosse at the University of Scranton.
Kourt Heavey, Girls Goaltending Coach
Kourt started playing lacrosse in the 8th grade and knew she would be playing the game for life. She attended the Lawrenceville School and played Field Hockey, Basketball and Lacrosse. She was a high school “All American” Attack player and was recruited to play for Loyola, Maryland, under Diane Jeppi-Aikens. In her freshman year Kourt’s knees gave out and she was given the choice of either quitting or becoming a goalie. She chose to become a goalie and could not imagine how she could have played any other positon. By her Junior year at Loyola, she was the starting goalie and the same year she became a collegiate All-American and played in the NCAA National Championships. After college, Kourt continued to play for Team Toyota and the NYAC. She coached high school lacrosse for four years and continues to volunteer whenever she can to spread the love of the game.
